För första gången på över femton år byggs nu en av de anrika Kiruna Truck-modellerna åter i sin hemstad. Under hösten har NMVs koncernbolag Kiruna Utility Vehicles byggt en SH60. Det var Kiruna Truck som en gång i tiden tog fram modellen som blev en internationell succé. Kiruna Truck såldes 1998 till GIA och produktionen flyttade. Under våren 2012 tog Nybergs Mekaniska Verkstad (NMV) över GIA:s produktion av fordon för smält- och stålverk under bolagsnamnet Kiruna Utility Vehicles. Kiruna Utility Vehicles ska leverera en ny version av sin slaggtruck, kallad SH60, till Bolidens smältverk i finska Harjavalta.
